Summer Enrichment Program
(Ages 5-13)
The GenesisHOPE Summer Enrichment Program provides 65 children (age 5-13) an opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and secure environment with multi-generational social interactions that create a sense of community. For nearly 25 years GenesisHOPE and its predecessor have helped children develop socio-cognitive skills. These skills are a deterrent from risky behavior which is crucial in the holistic development of young children. We help households combat the economic crisis by providing safe affordable childcare. Many of our participants’ parents are the “working” poor, single mother head of households and grandparents trying to provide a quality life and enriching experiences for their love ones.
The 6-week program begins in June and operates Monday–Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Teachers, mentors and volunteers interact with the children to implement the curriculum and work plans for the daily schedule that includes:

- Field Trips / Community Service (one day per week)
